You Mai Cai

  • You Mai Cai (油麦菜), also known as Chinese lettuce, celtuce, or asparagus lettuce, is a leafy green vegetable commonly used in Chinese cuisine. It has long, tender leaves and a slightly bitter yet fresh taste. The stems are crunchy, and both the leaves and stems are edible, making it a versatile ingredient in salads, stir-fries, and soups. You Mai Cai is known for its light, crisp texture and mild flavour, making it popular in health-conscious diets.
