Sweet pak choy

Also known as White Pak Choy, is mostly used for noodles, stir-fry and soups.

It is recommended to cook Hybrid Pak Choy before consumption as raw Pak Choy contains myrosinase which may hinder thyroid function by preventing the body from absorbing iodine.

Please note that people taking long-term blood-thinning medications such as Coumadin, or warfarin, should not suddenly increase or reduce the amount of Hybrid Pak Choy intake.

an excellent source of vitamin K which plays a role in blood clotting.

an excellent source of vitamin C which is essential for prevention of cancer.

Sweet Pak Choy has a high water content and very low calories (15kcal in 100g).
