Purple Kale

  • Kale can be consumed raw in sandwiches and salad. It is also consumed as a side dish or kale chip by air-frying it. Meanwhile, kale can be used for smoothies

  • Kale is:

    • an excellent source of antioxidants which help the body remove unwanted toxins that result from natural processes and environmental pressures.

    • a good source of vitamin K which plays a role in blood clotting.

    • a great source of potassium which helps maintain normal levels of fluid inside our cells

  • Kale has a high water content and very low calories (15kcal in 100g).

  • People with beta-blockers, kidney diseases and blood-thinners should avoid eating too much kale due to its high potassium content.
