Greek oregano

  • Greek oregano has small, oval-shaped leaves with a slightly fuzzy texture. The leaves are sturdy and aromatic, releasing their flavor when crushed or chopped.

  • Greek Oregano is:

    • an excellent source of vitamin A, C, E and K which helps to strengthen the immune system, warding off common illnesses and infections.

    • a great source of dietary fibre can make people feel fuller for longer, helping to reduce overall calorie intake and support weight loss goals

  • Greek oregano’s strong, peppery, and slightly bitter flavour is a key ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine, particularly in Greek dishes.

  • ​Greek oregano can be consumed fresh (as garnish for salad), dried  (for seasoning meats, vegetables and sauces) or grilled (rubbed onto meats, like lamb, chicken, or fish for an aromatic and flavourful crust).
